Terms of Service

Welcome to SWUPedia, a community-run site where members share images of serialized Star Wars: Unlimited cards they've found. The site is operated by one person as a personal project. By creating an account or using the site, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

1. About the site

This is an independent fan project, not a business, and it is not affiliated with or endorsed by Lucasfilm, Disney, Fantasy Flight Games, Asmodee, or Discord. Because one person runs it, I can't guarantee that the site is always available, instantly moderated, or free of bugs, but I'll always do my best.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 to use the site. If you're under 18 (or the age of majority where you live), please get a parent or guardian's permission first.

3. Your account

You can sign in through Discord, or with an email address and password. Either way, you're responsible for everything that happens on your account, including keeping your password secure. Please don't share your account, impersonate others, or create new accounts to get around a ban. If you sign in with Discord and email/password using the same, verified email, they're linked to one account, not treated as two separate ones. Discord has its own terms as well, and if Discord login is unavailable, the site may not work — signing in with email/password doesn't depend on Discord.

4. Privacy

When you sign in with Discord, the site receives some of your Discord account information; if you sign up with email and password instead, the site stores your email address and a securely hashed (never plain-text) version of your password. How that data is collected and used is explained in the Privacy Policy. By using the site, you agree to those practices.

5. Content you upload

Anything you upload stays yours. By posting it, you're giving me permission to host and display it on the site, and that permission ends when you delete the post or your account (aside from routine backups). When you upload something, you confirm that it's a genuine card image, that it's yours to share, and that it doesn't break these terms or infringe anyone's rights. I can't promise to back up your content, so please keep your own copies of anything important.

6. Community standards

I want this to be a safe, welcoming space for everyone, so please don't:

  • Harass, threaten, or demean anyone, or post hate speech or slurs;
  • Post sexual or otherwise not-safe-for-work content;
  • Post anything illegal, harmful to minors, or that promotes violence or self-harm;
  • Post spam, scams, malware, or fake listings;
  • Infringe others' work or share someone's private information;
  • Attempt to hack, scrape, overload, or otherwise disrupt the site.

Breaking these rules may result in your content being removed, or your account being suspended or banned, at my discretion.

7. How uploads are handled

Images are reviewed manually before they appear on the site, and I make every effort to keep prohibited content off it. Since it's just me, I can't promise to catch everything. If you notice something that breaks these rules, please report it to me (see Contact below).

8. Trademarks and intellectual property

Star Wars, Star Wars: Unlimited, and all related names, logos, characters, and card art belong to their respective owners, and all those rights remain with them. This is an unofficial fan site. The site's own design, code, and original writing belong to me.

If you believe content on the site uses your copyrighted work without permission, please contact me (see Contact) with a description of the work, where it appears on the site, and how to reach you. I'll review it and remove anything that shouldn't be there.

10. No guarantees

The site and its content are provided "as is." I can't guarantee it will always work, remain accurate, or stay online, and I don't verify whether any card shown is authentic, valuable, or rare — that's for you to judge. I'm not responsible for problems arising from your use of the site, and you're responsible for anything you post.

11. Changes and termination

I may suspend or close accounts, and I may change, pause, or shut down the site at any time. To have your account deleted, contact me to request it (see Contact). I may also update these terms, and continued use of the site after an update means you accept the changes.
